• We have a buyer in the store Most days, See store for Buyers Hours on the day you plan to come in.
• No need to make an appointment; come in and we will buy your items as you wait, (when a Buyer is in the store).
• Drop off: you can bring in your items at any time and we will call when we finish appraising your items. A pre-approval is needed with all drop offs.
  
• You may drop off your items at any time during store hours.  Simply leave your items and we will process them within 7-10 days. Drop offs must be pre-approved in order for us to process them at that time.

• Military Discounts:  If you or spouse is a member in the Military, shop and receive 10% OFF all gently-used merchandise at Kid to Kid. Simply show us your Military ID to receive the discount.  This cannot be combined with any other offers.

WAYS TO SELL TO KID TO KID

All items must be cleaned and clothing must be freshly laundered! 

1.  Walk-in and Stay

Bring in a laundry basket or less and we will purchase your items while you wait.(If you bring in more we will ask you to drop you items off). Items are purchased in the order they come in. Simply bring your items, fill out an Inventory Purchase Form and a employee will go through your items and pull out the items we are able to purchase.  Our buyer will then appraise your items using our revolutionary buying program and present you with an offer.  We base our pay out on style, brand, demand and condition. 

2.  Drop-Off

Come in and drop off the items you would like to sell.  Before you leave, we will go through your items and pull out the items we are currently buying (this usaually takes 10-60 minutes depending on the volume of drop-off's and the number of items you bring in to sell.)  You are welcome to leave and we will call you as soon as your buy is competed. 

As soon as we appraise your items, we will tag them and make them avaliable for sale. If you leave the store, it is possible that your items will be sold before you pick up your payment and you will not have the option of declining our offer or reclaiming you items. If you have items of value please let us know before leaving the store.You have up to five days to pick up your payout in cash as well as any items we weren't able to purcahse (no thank you's).  If you are not comfortable with this option, please choose our Walk-in and Stay option.

The Factors that go into our buying decisions and prices are:

Style – Children’s clothing should be less than 5 years old. Sizes 12 and above, and Maternity clothing, should be less than 2 years old. Only very current styles sell for us in those sizes. Equipment items, accessories, baby furniture, and toys should be less than 5 years old. Our customers look for safe, modern items, and toys with more entertaining features.
Brand – We sell items at well below retail price, but items that cost more originally may be priced higher and pay a higher percentage than items that retail for less. Clothing, equipment items and toy brands that are not common in our area or familiar to our customers do not always sell well and cannot always be priced higher, even if original cost is higher.
Condition – Clothing must be ready to be put onto the sales floor when we purchase it from you. We accept items that are in very good condition, freshly laundered and free of holes, tears and stains. We cannot accept clothing that smells of smoke or other odor or has pet hair on it. Clothing that shows wear such as worn knees, pilling or fading does not re-sell well for us. Other items must be sturdy and safe for re-use. Toys (such as trains, puzzles, games, etc.) must have all parts and instructions for assembly or be in their original box. Infant car seats must be less than 3 years old and toddler car seats and booster seats must be less than 4 years old. (Manufacture date must be on the bottom or side of the car seat.)
Demand – We try to accommodate customers by providing items they are looking for and buy most. Items that decrease in popularity are discontinued or priced reasonably low.
Stock on hand – Occasionally we receive too much of a particular item and do not have rack, floor, or counter space to display it. In that case, we will ask you to check back in a few weeks to see if we can accommodate your items then. For your convenience, please call before bringing your items to us to see what we are taking.
